For years, I didn't value myself and struggled with very low self-esteem. Through a lot of self-work, I came to realize that I am the only one that had the power to change myself. At every point in my life, I looked for ways to cultivate self-acceptance and self-love. Enrolling in a bachelor's degree program marked a significant turning point for me. As I successfully completed my studies, it gave me more confidence in my abilities. It was during this period that I met my partner, leading to our marriage. The birth of our first daughter a year later brought me immense joy and contributed to the gradual strengthening of my self-confidence. Four years down the road, the arrival of our second daughter, diagnosed with the rare "Williams Syndrome," presented us with very tough challenges. Despite these hardships, we evolved into a resilient "special-needs family," with me embracing my role as a "special-needs mother." Despite the complexities of my situation, I persisted, successfully obtaining my master's degree, starting doing makeup professionally, and immersing myself in flamenco dance. Now, at the age of 47, I can praise myself for my journey. I have learned to be kind to myself, recognizing that I am doing my best. I prioritize self-care and engage in activities that nurture my well-being, enabling me to present the best version of myself to my loved ones.
