Reanna Ritter
At 4 years old I asked God what the point of this life was. I was a sensitive and introspective child growing up in a blended family that felt very chaotic to me. We were Jehovah’s Witnesses, where were fed the message that we should not want and that to be good we needed to sacrifice, daily. Our family had generational patterns of physical, verbal and sexual abuse. Complaints about lack of money were so frequent that I developed the belief that my lack of freedom came from a lack of money. So, I decided very young that I would not be poor.
I was the first in my family to go to college and I earned an MBA in 2017. I became a Financial Controller working in the C-Suite within 2 years of earning my bachelor’s degree. When I had enough of corporate life I started my own accounting business. The challenges from my childhood surfaced during my entrepreneurial journey in the form of not having boundaries with clients, workaholism, feeling guilt when resting or having fun, feeling lonely and isolated in my relationships, not charging enough or making offers enough, imposter syndrome and perfectionism.
I noticed that these patterns had been following me throughout my life. Trying to fix the patterns myself while running a business and being a wife and mother to two young children led to burn out. I could no longer pretend I had just moved on from my past. This led to my spiritual awakening and the most rewarding journey I have been on so far. I now coach high achieving artists, athletes, professionals and entrepreneurs through those same patterns to help them reach the heights they aspire to.
